About me
Welcome. My name is Keg and I am a contemporary shamanic healer based in Sheffield, serving my local community and beyond. My journey into shamanism began with a profound calling around the age of forty, leading to over five years of dedicated training and hands-on practice in the western tradition of shamanic healing, combining both core shamanic techniques and spirit-led learning.
Coming from a western background, I understand the skepticism and curiosity that surround subjects like animism and metaphysics—especially in a modern, rational society. My practice, which I call “metaphysical metaphors,” invites you to approach healing either as a direct engagement with spiritual realities or as a transformative, symbol-driven process that harnesses the power of meaning and belief, including the well-understood benefits of the placebo effect. There is no prerequisite to believe in spirits to benefit from this work; what matters most is your openness to healing, change, and self-discovery.
My training draws on the core principles of animism and shamanic journeying, informed by the wisdom of indigenous and contemporary teachers. I blend ancient traditions with a grounded, pragmatic focus suited to modern life and emotional needs. Sessions may include shamanic journeying, soul and power retrieval, ceremonial work, nature-based rituals, or simply dialogue for those who wish to explore these realms symbolically or metaphorically.
My mission is to deepen connection—to self, to the community, to the more-than-human world, and to the stories we live by. Whether you see this as psychological, spiritual, or metaphoric, I offer a supportive, inclusive space for personal and collective transformation. I continually seek to grow my skills through ongoing learning, ethical practice, and deep communion with nature, spirits, and elders of the shamanic path, adapting what is helpful for urban living in the West.
If you would like to explore shamanic healing as a path for self-empowerment, transformation, or soulful reconnection with the living world (however you define that), I welcome you—just as you are.
